Privacy Policy

This policy covers odishafilmsociety.in, the website of the Odisha Film Society and the International Short Film Festival of Odisha (ISFFO). It describes exactly what this site collects and where that information goes.

What we collect

We only collect information you type into a form yourself. There are two forms on this site.

Contact form

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your message

Film nomination form

• Director or submitter name
• Email address
• Phone or WhatsApp number
• Film title, genre and running time
• The online screener link you provide
• Your film synopsis

What we do not collect

This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other visitor tracking. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not know which pages you visit.

Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service, so simply reading this site does not share your IP address with anyone else. As with any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs for security and reliability.

Where your information goes

Both forms are delivered into Google Forms and stored in the linked Google Sheet, provided by Google LLC. Google processes this data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside India. Only the Odisha Film Society team has access to those responses.

When you submit either form we send an automatic confirmation email to the address you gave us, and a copy of that confirmation reaches our own inbox so the team can act on it.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry.
• To register, evaluate and communicate with you about a film you have submitted.
• To send you festival updates directly connected to your enquiry or entry.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the festival team except the service providers named above.

Screener links

We do not host or copy your film. We store only the link you give us, and our programming committee uses it to watch your work. Access to your film remains controlled by you on whichever platform you host it — you can revoke it at any time, though doing so before judging ends may make your entry impossible to consider.

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries and film entries are retained for the duration of the festival edition they relate to, and afterwards as a record of who took part. Retention period pending

Your choices

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you ask us to delete a film entry before judging concludes, we will treat that as a withdrawal from the festival.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
